Vietnam: Can Tho Mineral and Cement opens new plant in Phu Huu16 December 2016, Published under Cement NewsCan Tho Mineral and Cement JSC (CCM) has announced that it has opened a new 0.5Mta cement plant on the Phu Huu industrial park near the border with Cambodia. The plant was built at a cost of VND180bn (US$8m). According to VietNam Finance, CCM believe that their investment is justified giving growing domestic demand for cement. Can Tho Mineral and Cement signs export deal17 January 2012, Published under Cement NewsA new export deal has been signed by Vietnamese cement producer, Can Tho Mineral and Cement JSC and a Chinese partner for 24,000t to be delivered to Cambodia. Can Tho’s Chairman and CEO, Thai Minh Thuyet was quoted by Vietnam press as saying that the contract will help the company deal with a downturn in the domestic market.
